Our classes are one day long and cover honeybee biology and life cycle, pests and diseases, foraging habits and beekeeping equipment and techniques. 

Classes will be held in Chicago from 10 AM to 3 PM. Lunch is potluck. Students will get location details after they sign up. Cost is $85.00 for the class. We highly recommend that students read a beekeeping book beforehand in order to become familiar with beekeeping terms.

Scholarships to this class are available through our partner non profit, Chicago Honey Co-op Training Center.
