Beekeeping Services & Consultations
In addition to our own beehives, Chicago Honey Co-op has over 15 years of experience taking care of beehives on rooftops in Chicago. We currently manage hives for several organizations including the City of Chicago's hives, Studio Gang Architects, Lurie Garden in Millennium Park and Google's Chicago Headquarters at 1K Fulton. If your business would like to have beehives, we will be happy to install and maintain them for you.
(In the Midwest, beekeeping and hive activities begin in early April and go to about the end of October. In order to have a beehive up and running by April, planning for a hive and equipment ordering must happen no later than January 1 of the year you wish to start a hive).
We also offer on site consultation for beekeepers who have a beekeeping issue they need help with or who want one on one instruction.
