Join us for this outdoor hands on class on the roof of Rancho Verde, headquarters of Christy Webber Landscapes. Students will get instruction on beekeeping tools, lighting a smoker, hive inspection techniques, how to determine health of the queen, and much more. While this class is intended for students who have taken our Winter lecture class, we happily accept people who have studied on their own and want some practical experience before they get started.

We do recommend reading a basic beekeeping book ahead of time to be familiar with honeybee biology and habits, and common beekeeping terms. 

Class will run from 10 AM to 3PM with a potluck lunch. Students will be contacted with details about a week before the class
